I get food from here any time I come up from TN to visit. This is hands down the best Chinese takeout I've had. Huge portions, plenty of sauce, great taste.
I've been coming to Kew Gardens for about 10 years and it has never let me down. It is the best Asian food I have had in southern Illinois AND it has never gotten me sick soo... They have the option to make your own takeout where you go in and make your plate however you want so I don't think that the reviews before are very fair. If you want more chicken then broccoli then go in and make your food yourself. I've had almost every item they offer in the buffet and I enjoy it all. My favorite is the wanton soup I really recommend it.

Pretty good buffet, you can also get carry out by the order or by the box (from the buffet). On the pricier side, but pretty good. Recommend lunch.
This is my favorite buffett in town. The food is excellent. The staff are all friendly and can understand you. The hot and sour soup is my all time favorite. They also have frog legs on the buffett, which I love. They charge extra if you eat the crab legs. They also do carry out.
